Astute Financial Planner has been announced as a finalist in the “Financial Advice Innovator of the Year” category in the 2018 Fintech Business Awards.
The Fintech Business Awards recognises outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship in the Australian financial technology (fintech) sector.
The hallmarks of the Fintech Business Awards entries are innovation, entrepreneurship, vision, collaboration and business acumen resulting in success.
The ‘Financial Advice Innovator of the Year‘ category recognises a professional financial services company that has developed its own proprietary fintech or incorporated fintech into its service delivery in innovative ways to enhance client experience and business outcomes. It includes professional firms working with retail investors and consumers, including financial planning, mortgage broking, stockbroking, SMSF, accounting practices, etc.
Finalists were chosen on their:
- Innovation – The extent to which an entry represents a new approach to business challenges. Any business can follow best practice; this criterion will identify those who have pioneered methods that made their business stand out.
- Entrepreneurship – Business owners who have taken a risk to pursue their fintech dream, striking out from the crowd to create new digital products that enhance the consumer experience.
- Creativity – The degree to which creativity is demonstrated in all aspects of the business model, brand values, relationships (with customers, suppliers and the public), and in their award submissions.
- Outcomes – Demonstration of the outcomes the business has achieved, be they financial, geographical or in staff development and engagement? Outcomes and continual improvement have a heavy weighting to award and celebrate measurable achievements.
For the 2nd year in a row Astute has been nominated. In 2017 it was Astute Estate Planner.
The winners of the 2018 Fintech Business Awards will be selected by a panel of soon-to-be-announced expert judges and announced at a gala dinner event on Thursday, 22 March 2018 at the Sofitel Wentworth in Sydney.
