Miles has a varied background. Before joining Astute Wheel, he worked at Super SA, the public sector superannuation fund for South Australian government employees. While there he worked in their Product, Defined Benefits, and Advice teams. Prior to this Miles has worked in various roles in government, university, and the private sectors.
Miles is the Joint Winner of the Financial Planning Association of Australia’s 2020 University Student of the Year Award. He has also published a book based on his doctoral thesis, which concerned military matters. Additionally, Miles holds the Distinguished Toastmaster award from the public speaking organisation, Toastmasters International.
